When writing your CV, think like the reader or the hiring manager. Is the information convincing you how good you are…or is it a short sharp statement that is backed up with solid facts?
Your CV may be in a pile of 200 or more other CV’s. The reader will glance at the top half of the first page …if they are not impressed in that first 20 seconds….they probably won’t even read the rest! so don’t waste space with self ego statements…..try to be original…but without showing off. p/>
Less is more. Short sharp phrases are easy to absorb…long sentences need more time to digest, if they are full of information. The reader wants quick simple information so they can form an opinion….the harder it is to make an opinion…the easier it is to throw away and move on…
